Barcelona is really an amazing city to live in having kids. It's very well equipped with family friendly restaurants and cafes (here I'm NOT talking about changing rooms(!!!) but loaded with toys and entertainment for the small ones) and there are always so many creative events and alternative initiatives all year round. It's spring which means festivals and concerts, and most of them are easily adapted to party parents with kids; Primavera Sound, Sonar and Picnic Barcelona to name the most obvious ones, but I'll get back on those ones later on. Now it's about a festival for kids which is organised by party parents: El Dia Minimúsica.
Yesterday was the second edition of this festival with more than 2000 people attending and held in some beautiful old industrial buildings in Sant Andreu. There was a great vibe and we had such a nice day in the sun listening to concerts and DJ's while our daughter went completely nuts at all of the fantastic activities offered, like swing classes, build and be a monster, turntables, yoga and much more...
O. and I on our way to the dance floor!
Yoga and relaxation class after lunch to give the kids new energy
The big eyed monster and her claw
These funky guitars by The Lazy Jellyfish were all over, love them!
